Today we joined forces with 6W to become historians. We looked at a range of artifacts from World War II. We tried things on and tried to imagine how they were used and who would have used them. The children then made sketches of the artifacts to help us explore the detail, so that we can become more familiar with them. The children were really enthusiastic and have begun to bring in their own photographs and memorabilia.
it was good when we was reading them out and making the post cards
ReplyDeleteI liked it when we saw the gas mask and the helmet and the medals. I thought that it was kind of Miss Willis to bring her grandads things in from whem he was in the war.
